HOW CAN I IMPROVE IN INTERPRETIVE READING TASKS?

Use this site to work on:
- gaining exposure and getting accustomed to reading authentic, and current resources - improving your reading comprehension with many questions related to Main Idea, Supporting Detail Detection, Author's Perspective, Guessing Meaning from Context, Simple and Complex Inferences and more! How to use this site: - First, you will need to sign in using your school Google account to access the reading and quiz. - Select an article based on Reading Skills (Central Idea, What the text says, etc.) or an interest you have (Deportes, Los Estados Unidos, etc.) - Before reading the article, select the appropriate level. *Hint - the higher the number, the more words and the harder the article. - Read the article - Once finished, select the "quiz" tab on the blue colored strip and take the quiz to judge your comprehension! |

How to use this site: - Select an article based on level - Intermediate or Advanced and one that interests you (there is no way currently to choose based on unit, theme, etc.) - On the main page for the article you can read the article and/or listen to someone read it at the same time. Use the underlined words to help you understand it. - Once finished, select the "lenguaje" tab at the top to access the summary (Versión Principantes), comprehension questions and grammar exercises related to the article. - You should also check out the "Multimedia" and "Viaja" tabs to learn more about the culture and country! - Also consider signing up for their newsletter that sends out alerts whenever there is a new article available |

How to use this site: - Select the level that is most appropriate for you (Elementary, Intermediate, Poetry) and selecting the corresponding page - Select a story you would like to read - Complete the comprehension questions |
